These first set of charts show my initial recordings of energy consumption around my house. I chose to focus on four main rooms with the most electrical appliances.
Over a 24hr period I updated my chart every hour saying whether an appliance was on, off or on stand by.

The task with data gathering was to collect information about the amount of energy consumption around the house. To note if appliances were on or off and the type of appliance.
