Collaborative Film Making
In our collaborative film making workshop, we individually made small film clips of buildings and scenery found on campus. These small clips were then uploaded and imported into Final Cut Pro. In small groups we joined clips together and added effects to the clips to make mini films. We then swapped with other groups and took there original film and remixed and added extra footage and or effects on top of what was already there.
Final Cut Pro being a new software to me and my group meant that we took this task as merely an experimental and investigative exercise. Both videos are quite similar as they show the second half of the workshop process. The footage here is predominately from the first group and onto it we have added random and experimental flashes of colour, we played around with layering sequences and also used the reflective affect tool.
